D’-rope-let is an innovation that we have created in attempt to solve global problems that the world is currently facing. We have applied 5 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) onto our innovation. The five Sustainable Development Goals are SDG 2 which is ZERO HUNGER , SDG 6 for CLEAN WATER AND SANITATION , SDG 9 for INDUSTRY , INNOVATION AND INFRASTRUCTURE , SDG 11 for SUSTAINABLE CITIES AND COMMUNITIES , and lastly RESPONSIBLE CONSUMPTION AND PRODUCTION which is SDG 12 . In attempt to solve these global problems , we have tried several mock-ups and we chose the mock-up that fits the best for these problems. In order to come up with D’-rope-let , we brainstormed ideas after ideas and we took the best out of all of our ideas and combined it into one model which is the D’-rope-let. The mechanism in this mock-up is the water pass through the water filter embedded in the model. Let it be clean or dirty water , the filter will purify the water. Then , the water will be collected and pass through the rope that has been inserted through the hole that have been poked and the rope will absorb the water and carry the water down to the soil in a slow pace to keep it moist and not too wet for the plants to grow. This mechanism is important in order for the plants to grow in a healthy environment. This model does not only saves space but it also does not require clean water to water the plants. This model would solves many problems that people are facing across the globe. For example , limited space , no clean water supply and not enough time to attend to the plants and most importantly , the rising cost of food supplies. By using recyclable items , we can make use of the most overlooked materials and create something that helps solve our everyday problems and ease our burden.
