The MGT667 Internship course plays a critical role in preparing BA262 Part 5 students at School of Technology Management, UiTM Pahang for real-world industry exposure through a structured internship programme. However, the current placement process, which requires students to independently secure internship opportunities and rely on manual coordination for documentation, has resulted in inefficiencies, delays, and administrative challenges. Issues such as inconsistent submission of company details, dependency on coordinators for application letter preparation, lack of centralized tracking, and fragmented communication channels have affected the overall effectiveness of the internship placement process. Thus, this project proposes the development of a one-stop student resource for managing internship information.  The Internship – Application Processing and Placement System (I-APPS), is a digital platform designed to streamline and automate the end-to-end internship placement workflow. The system introduces key features including internship registration, standardized online submission, automated application letter generation, real-time placement tracking, and a centralized database of verified companies. By integrating these functionalities, it enhances process efficiency, improves data accuracy, and reduces administrative workload.  The innovation lies in its smart auto-documentation engine, built with a Google Sites–based interface and powered by Google Apps Script at the back end, together with an institutional knowledge database. These components collectively transform a traditionally manual process into a structured, automated, and data-driven system. The implementation of this platform is expected to significantly reduce processing time, minimize documentation errors, and improve placement success rates among students.  Overall, this project supports the digital transformation agenda in higher education by improving the management of industrial training programmes, enhancing student experience, and strengthening collaboration between UiTM Pahang and industry partners.
