Bee Educated is an innovative and immersive Augmented Reality (AR)-based educational platform that transforms traditional learning about bees into an interactive, multi-sensory experience. Designed for students, educators, and nature enthusiasts, this project goes beyond the basics of honey and hives to unveil the fascinating inner workings of a real bee colony.

Through engaging AR simulations and interactive storytelling, users are virtually guided through a thriving beehive. They explore the distinct roles of queen bees, workers, and drones; witness daily hive duties; and even observe defensive responses during a simulated wasp invasion. Complementing the visuals, the platform features original audio soundscapes inspired by the natural buzz of bees, hand-crafted bee-themed art, and a collection of quirky, lesser-known bee facts to stimulate curiosity.

Participants can also engage with a virtual honey collection activity that educates users on sustainable beekeeping practices. The application is designed to be both entertaining and educational, combining biological insights with gamified learning to encourage ecological awareness and appreciation for pollinators.

With a strong emphasis on novelty, interactivity, and environmental consciousness, Bee Educated redefines how we learn about bees—making science not only informative but delightful.
