This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of organic ingredients as mind-freshening aromatherapy using three samples, namely a mixture of peppermint, cloves and ginger, mint leaves alone, and vanilla essential oil produced through distillation. Respondents were asked to smell each sample and fill out a questionnaire to assess the level of freshness, calmness, focus and acceptance using a Likert scale. Based on the feedback obtained, each sample had its own advantages, where peppermint and mint provide freshness and increase focus, while vanilla is more emotionally calming. The results of the study showed that the majority of respondents preferred Sample C (Vanilla Essential Oil) because its smell was soft, calming and suitable for use in reducing stress. Overall, this study proved that organic ingredients have the potential to be used as a natural, environmentally friendly, safe and commercially viable mind-freshening alternative.
