EnglishXP is a fully digital grammar kit designed to address low student engagement in English classrooms by transforming traditional lessons into interactive, game-based experiences. Structured around pre-, while-, and post-lesson activities, EnglishXP enhances learning through engaging digital tools which include a fast-clicking game to activate prior knowledge, a multimedia storybook for in-lesson learning, and a role-playing game (RPG) that gamifies assessment. This platform supports asynchronous and autonomous learning, enabling flexible access on phones, tablets, and laptops. Trial results and research evidence, including a quantitative engagement study using the BERI protocol and a perception study, show significant improvements in student motivation and participation.
