This project presents a hybrid rainwater energy harvesting system that captures environmental energy through everyday building infrastructure. The modular prototype integrates three distinct subsystems to optimize energy capture from a single resource: triboelectric plates harvest rainwater movement energy, an Archimedes screw turbine paired with a bell siphon converts gravity-driven water flow into power using turbine generator, and a piezoelectric strip captures fluid-induced structural vibrations. A hardware-based control circuit stabilizes these highly fluctuating inputs without microcontrollers, successfully charging a storage cell. The system demonstrates a scalable, decentralized, off-grid solution capable of powering smart infrastructure and localized low-power electronic monitoring devices.
