This study developed "FlavoPaper," an edible, rehydratable packaging upcycled from banana and apple peel fibers to tackle plastic pollution. The methodology involved fiber extraction, formulation with tapioca starch into 0.3mm sheets, and applying a beeswax coating for waterproofing. FlavoPaper serves as a durable protective wrapper with industrial-grade tensile strength, demonstrating high potential for agricultural biomass upcycling within a circular economy. Future research will focus on enhancing microbial safety and extending shelf-life through natural preservatives to ensure long-term food safety stability. This zero-waste plastic alternative offers a sustainable, functional solution for the modern packaging industry.
