Project Plush is a gamified mobile application developed using MIT App Inventor that transforms the donation of preloved plush toys into an engaging and meaningful digital experience. The project addresses the issue of unused plushies while promoting empathy, sustainability, and community involvement through interactive features such as achievement badges, progress tracking, and rewards that encourage continuous participation. By creating a stronger emotional connection between users and their contributions, Project Plush motivates acts of kindness and responsible consumption. Designed using accessible and cost-effective technology, the application can be easily adopted by schools and communities, demonstrating how innovation and gamification can inspire positive behavioural change while supporting social impact and sustainable community development.
