Comic of Basic Chemistry for You (CoBCU) was developed to address low achievement and limited chemistry background among students enrolled in CHM138 Basic Chemistry. This study evaluated student's perceptions of CoBCU, a comic based learning material enhanced with Augmented Reality (AR). CoBCU revealed highly positive responses with student reporting increased interest, motivation and preference for comic based learning over traditional methods. This study suggest that CoBCU has strong potential as an innovative supplementary learning tool for improving chemistry education.
