This innovation introduces an interactive board game titled “Mineral Master: Buzz & Build”, designed to enhance student engagement and understanding in an integrated Form 3 Science and Mathematics lesson. The game combines conceptual knowledge of minerals—such as physical properties, density, and uses—with mathematical skills like calculating mass, volume, percentage, and interpreting data. To promote fairness and real-time engagement, the game is integrated with EduBuzz, an automated classroom response system. EduBuzz allows students to “buzz in” answers during question rounds, with the system capturing the first responder accurately and instantly displaying responses on the teacher’s monitor. This eliminates bias and manual selection while fostering an exciting, game-based learning environment. As students move through the game board by correctly answering questions, they apply critical thinking, reinforce STEM concepts, and practice quick decision-making. The combination of gamification and digital interactivity supports collaborative learning, promotes equal participation, and nurtures 21st-century skills in a fun, structured, and inclusive setting.
