Recent years, hospitals in Malaysia are facing increasing energy consumption and is predicted to increase every year. Automated Light System using Arduino Technology was designed to be as a solution to reduce the energy consumption of the lighting system in hospital. It uses motion sensor to sense the movement of people to switch ON the light automatically and turn OFF after 1 seconds if no movements. The light system is designed and controlled by Arduino microcontroller and operates through coding. Furthermore, Automated Light System using Arduino Technology in this research is conducted to promote energy savings in the medical field.
