SonoZyme RSO™ is a green extraction technology that converts underutilized rubber seeds into high-quality rubber seed oil through ultrasound-assisted enzymatic extraction. Under optimized conditions of 5% (v/v) enzyme and 30 minutes of ultrasonic treatment, the process achieved a 65% oil yield with a low free fatty acid value of 0.15 mg KOH/g. The solvent-free approach reduces chemical consumption, improves environmental safety, and enhances oil quality compared with conventional methods. The technology is scalable, cost-effective, and shows strong potential for biodiesel and other renewable fuel applications, supporting sustainable resource utilization and circular economy development.
