In response to the growing environmental concerns related to single-use plastic, this project introduces a sustainable alternative using loofah-based material for takeout packaging. Loofah, a natural and biodegradable resource, has been tested for its durability, heat resistance, and practicality. The innovation aims to reduce plastic waste in the food and beverage industry by offering an eco-friendly, compostable solution. This project includes material testing, consumer usability surveys, and comparison with traditional packaging. The findings suggest loofah-based containers are a viable replacement, promoting both environmental awareness and practical application.
