The system utilizes a multi-stage filtration process to remove physical impurities, followed by a heating mechanism to eliminate harmful microorganisms. An embedded microcontroller, such as Arduino, is used to automate the process, monitor temperature, and display real-time system status to users.
In addition, Aquaflav introduces a flavor infusion feature, allowing users to enhance the taste of purified water using natural or artificial flavor inputs. This aims to encourage higher water intake, especially among individuals who are less inclined to drink plain water. The design emphasizes portability, cost-efficiency, and sustainability, making it suitable for outdoor use, emergency situations, and communities with limited access to clean water.
