Maize plants have always been one of the most important sources to feed people, especially for countries like the African countries that have 12 areas in the country playing as the dominant role of corn yield production. But since the present of the fall armyworm, it triggers food insecurity and hunger issues. We had developed a sustainable and environmental-friendly insecticidal repellent against the Fall Armyworm in maize field. Our objective was to determine the effectiveness of Allicin, Capsaicin and Neem oil in repelling Fall Armyworm through its gut regulation, nervous system and reproductive system. Different concentration of extracts were tested on the FAW samples before combining the most efficient concentration of each extract into A.C.N.C.E. The A.C.N.C.E was then tested on FAW samples in different concentrations. The repellency rate of each concentration extracts was determined. There was a significant difference between the means of Allicin group (M=59.8533, Sd= .28537) and ACNCE group (M=91.3967, Sd= .49863) as the p-value was lesser than 0.05 (p= < 0.001). There was no significant difference between the means of Capsaicin group (M=90.5233, Sd=.87592) and ACNCE group (M=91.3967, Sd= .49863), as the p-value was greater than 0.05 (p= <0.371). There was a significant difference between the means of Neem oil group (M= 76.1533, Sd=.66010) and ACNCE group (M=91.3967, Sd= .49863), as the p-value was lesser than 0.05 (p= <0.001). The A.C.N.C.E insecticidal repellent shows the highest repellency rate at concentration of 1.2 % with a repellency rate of 91.27% and an average time of 0.48 minutes. The A.C.N.C.E insecticidal repellent is significantly an effective repellent against Fall Armyworm. Therefore, it is viable to utilize the A.C.N.C.E insecticidal repellent with the concentration of 1.2% as a sustainable and environmentally-friendly insecticidal repellent against fall armyworm in the maize field.
