Speech delay in preschool children is a growing concern, impacting their communication abilities and social development. Despite the increasing prevalence of speech delays, there is a lack of effective educational tools designed to support language acquisition in early childhood. This study explores the potential of visual communication in developing an innovative educational tool tailored for pre-schoolers aged 4 to 6 with speech delays. By integrating elements such as colour, typography, illustrations, and sensory design, the research aims to enhance engagement, comprehension, and expressive language skills through interactive digital and printed media. The study also examines how visual strategies can facilitate two-way communication, improving interactions between children, caregivers, and educators. The findings contribute to the advancement of effective educational resources for speech-delayed children, offering valuable insights for designers, educators, and parents. Ultimately, this research seeks to bridge the gap between design and education by creating visually engaging, developmentally appropriate tools that support early language development.
