The advancement of Industry 4.0 has significantly influenced engineering education, particularly in manufacturing technology and smart automation systems. This innovation presents the development and implementation of an Internet of Things (IoT) Developed Injection Moulding Learning Kit at Politeknik Banting Selangor. The innovation was designed to support practical learning in plastic manufacturing courses after the conventional injection moulding machine became unavailable due to maintenance and budget limitations. The proposed learning kit integrates IoT technology, sensors, microcontrollers, and mobile-based monitoring systems to provide students with safer, interactive, and accessible hands-on learning experiences. This innovation discusses the design concept, methodology, educational benefits, system architecture, and impact of the innovation on teaching and learning processes. The findings show that the learning kit improves student understanding, enhances practical exposure, and aligns polytechnic education with Industry 4.0 requirements. The project demonstrates how low-cost IoT technology can modernize technical education while supporting sustainable learning environments.
