Virtual Booth

This project presents the design and development of FlexiStep Walker, an adjustable rehabilitation walking frame designed to improve safety and balance for lower limb rehabilitation patients during stair use. The walking frame features an adjustable front leg mechanism controlled by a release bar positioned near the handle, allowing the front legs to extend or retract safely according to stair positioning. Mild steel was selected as the main structural material to provide durability and stability, while soft rubber hand grips and rubber tips improve comfort and traction. Overall, FlexiStep Walker helps improve patient confidence while supporting safer and more independent daily mobility.
