Academic integrity is fundamental to higher education, yet many students struggle to understand and apply principles of ethical writing and plagiarism avoidance. This innovation project introduces Plagiarism Games for Beginners V.2, an interactive, game-based learning tool designed to teach foundational concepts of plagiarism and proper citation through engaging play. The game fosters active learning and enhances understanding of ethical standards by incorporating scenarios that require players to recognize plagiarism, detect citation problems, and rectify academic writing. This strategy, crafted for simplicity and accessibility, seeks to cultivate a favorable disposition toward academic integrity, providing novice learners with the requisite knowledge and skills to uphold honesty in their scholarly endeavors. The project demonstrates how gamification can transform traditionally dry topics into meaningful, memorable educational experiences.
