Efficient water management is important for maintaining healthy plant growth while reducing water wastage. However, traditional plant watering methods often rely on manual monitoring and fixed schedules, which may lead to overwatering, underwatering, and inefficient use of water. This project proposes a Solar-Powered Smart IoT-Based Automated Watering System that automatically monitors soil moisture and irrigates plants when necessary. The system uses a soil moisture sensor connected to an IoT-enabled microcontroller to detect soil conditions and activate a water pump through a relay module. A solar panel and rechargeable battery provide sustainable energy for system operation. The proposed system is expected to reduce manual effort, conserve water, and demonstrate the integration of renewable energy and IoT technology for smart plant care
