The Natural Mosquito Repellent Spray is an eco-friendly innovation developed to provide a safer
and sustainable alternative to synthetic mosquito repellents. This project utilizes plant-based
essential oils such as citronella, lemongrass, and eucalyptus, which contain bioactive compounds
known for their mosquito-repelling properties.
The formulation was prepared using natural extracts combined with a suitable solvent to ensure
effective dispersion and prolonged protection. The effectiveness of the spray was evaluated
through observation of mosquito avoidance behavior under controlled conditions.
Results indicate that the natural formulation can reduce mosquito presence while minimizing
harmful chemical exposure to humans and the environment.
This innovation promotes sustainable practices and supports public health by offering a

biodegradable, low-toxicity mosquito control solution aligned with SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-
being) and SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production).
