This project presents Scratch Dash, a fast-paced rhythm platformer inspired by the precision mechanics of Geometry Dash. The game challenges players to navigate dynamically generated obstacle courses synchronized to high-energy music, where timing, pattern recognition, and reflexes are critical to success.

Built using a custom physics and collision engine, the game emphasizes smooth controls, frame-accurate input detection, and responsive feedback systems to create a satisfying “one more try” gameplay loop. Each level is procedurally structured to adapt difficulty in real time, analyzing player performance to maintain an engaging balance between challenge and progression.

The objective of this project is to demonstrate the integration of game physics, audio synchronization, procedural design, and user-generated content within a cohesive interactive experience. Velocity Pulse showcases how rhythm-based mechanics can be expanded through adaptive systems and player creativity to deliver both technical innovation and compelling gameplay.
