The Smart Flood Alert System for Homes addresses the frequent occurrence of floods in Malaysia, which cause damage to homes and property and pose serious safety risks. This project proposes a simple flood detection model using a water container, floating trigger mechanism, and alarm system. When the water level rises, the floating trigger activates the alarm to alert residents early. The system is cost-effective, easy to build, and suitable for home use. Through this innovation, students explore practical solutions for disaster preparedness, promoting safety awareness and helping families respond quickly to potential flood situations.
