Solkinet is a next-generation wearable health device designed for continuous, self-sustaining cardiovascular monitoring by integrating solar energy harvesting, biosensing, and intelligent data analytics. Conventional wearables are limited by frequent charging; Solkinet addresses this through energy-autonomous operation enabled by high-efficiency thin-film photovoltaic cells embedded in the wristband, harvesting ambient light to extend device uptime and reduce charging dependency. For physiological sensing, photoplethysmography (PPG) captures real-time heart rate and heart rate variability (HRV), enabling assessment of cardiovascular status under rest, activity, and stress conditions. Embedded algorithms filter motion artifacts and extract meaningful cardiac patterns for continuous trend analysis, detecting early indicators such as stress, fatigue, and abnormal heart rate variations. Data is wirelessly transmitted to a mobile application for real-time visualization and personalized feedback. With a lightweight, ergonomic, water-resistant design, Solkinet supports 24/7 wearability. It aligns with SDG 3, SDG 7, and SDG 9, offering a scalable solution for sustainable digital health monitoring.
