BEARS DEVICE is stands for Baby Emergency Alert and Response System. This innovation is created to help prevent dangerous situations where babies are accidentally left inside cars. The problem statement is every year, many children suffer or even lose their lives because they are trapped inside hot cars. Most cases happen when adults forget or are in a hurry. The objectives this innovation is to send an automatic alert signal when the baby is detected but the driver is not. Besides, to increase safety awareness and prevent incidents of babies being left in vehicles. The system operation flows are if the touch sensor detect a baby and the ultrasonic sensor does not detect a driver, the transmitter Arduino sends a high signal through the RF module. The receiver Arduino receives the high signal and turns on the buzzer. But, if the driver wants to leave the baby for a short moment, pressing the switch will pause the system. After 10 minutes, system will reactivate automatically. The advantages from this device are, low cost and easy to install, provides security and peace of mind when travelling with a baby in the vehicle, strong commercial potential and support 3 to 17 UN Sustainanble Development Goals (SDG3, SDG9 and SDG11).  So that, this BEARS Device may help create a safer world for children, supports global goals and aims to save lives.
