The increasing use of gas-based appliances in homes has improved daily convenience but also increases the risk of gas leakage and fire incidents. If these hazards are not detected early, they may cause property damage, injuries, or loss of life. One of the main issues is that many existing safety systems rely on conventional alarms that only provide local alerts and do not support real-time monitoring or early notification. Therefore, this project proposes a Smart Safety Monitoring System for Gas Leakage and Fire Detection Using IoT. The system integrates gas and flame sensors connected to a microcontroller to monitor environmental conditions. When gas leakage or fire is detected, the system activates an alarm and sends notifications through an IoT platform. The expected result is a simple and cost-effective system that improves safety through early hazard detection.
