Artificial intelligence (AI) holds significant potential for enhancing teaching, yet adoption among primary school teachers remains limited. To address this gap, we developed an assessment based on the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT), supplemented with a Personal Innovativeness (PI) dimension. It measures teachers’ perceptions of AI’s usefulness, ease of integration, social support, infrastructure adequacy, and openness to new tools. Preliminary findings from 120 participants indicate that resource availability, perceived benefits, and individual innovativeness strongly predict AI acceptance. This framework informs strategies to foster teacher readiness, improve classroom practices, and advance educational outcomes by pinpointing these factors.
