The Magic Rain Shield project addresses the common problem of clothes getting wet when left outside during rainy weather. This situation causes inconvenience and repeated drying efforts. The project proposes a smart extended porch system equipped with a rain sensor that detects rainfall automatically. When rain is detected, the retractable arm mechanism pulls the structure inward to protect clothes from getting wet. This simple and innovative design promotes convenience and efficiency in daily household activities. Through this project, students explore the application of sensor-based technology and develop practical solutions to everyday problems, enhancing awareness of smart home innovations.
