Virtual Booth

AquaMetrix is a low-cost, IoT-based, portable device that detects heavy metals in water using a TCS3200 color sensor and Arduino Wifi. After detection, it sends results, along with GPS data, to a cloud system via WiFi. This crowdsourced data helps identify contamination hotspots for faster public response. Supported by research showing over 95% detection accuracy on average(Dewantara & Yulkifli, 2020), AquaMetrix is easy to use, similar to a COVID-19 self-test. It supports SDG 6 (Clean Water) and SDG 14 (Life Below Water), with future plans to validate against lab methods.
