EcoNovaBricks is an eco-friendly construction project that explores sustainable alternatives to conventional cement bricks using rice husk ash, sand, hydrated lime, and cocopeat. Rice husk ash, rich in silica, improves bonding strength through pozzolanic reactions, while cocopeat acts as a renewable material with natural thermal insulation properties. These ecobricks are lightweight, durable, and suitable for small-scale construction applications. They also reduce carbon dioxide emissions and dependence on ordinary cement. By converting agricultural waste into valuable construction resources, the project promotes environmental sustainability and supports Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 12: Responsible Consumption and Production through responsible waste reuse and greener construction practices.
