At this juncture, innumerable industries develop textiles and enhance the ratio of dye usage. Some dyes are toxic to marine life. They are not biodegradable and can endure in the environment for prolonged times, leading to difficulty in waste management. This research was conducted to shows that fungi can treat dye pollution. We used specific dye called methylene blue dye to analyze the decolorization. Malachite green dye is a tricyclic phenothiazine dye and synthetic dye. Throughout this research, biodegradation of methylene blue dye has been evidenced by the color alterations of agar medium after 7 days of incubation. Remarkable, this cultured fungi also fully decolorized the methylene blue dye in liquid medium only 3 days. We evaluate the decolorization of methylene blue dye by using UV-Vis spectrophotometer after being filtered
