In today’s classrooms, engaging pupils meaningfully remains a significant challenge, especially when traditional textbook-based learning fails to capture their interest. This innovation addresses the issue of pupil disengagement in Form 5 English classes by transforming a textbook topic into an interactive digital resource. We selected the chapter on Crime because it offers rich opportunities for discussion, critical thinking, and real-life connections - elements that can make learning more relevant and engaging. Using Canva and Microsoft applications, we designed a visually appealing and learner-friendly module that promotes active participation and deeper understanding of the topic. This innovation not only aligns with the Digital Education Policy (DPD) - especially in fostering digitally fluent pupils and integrating effective digital tools, but also supports 21st-century learning by enhancing creativity, collaboration, and independent learning. Initial classroom implementation showed a marked improvement in pupils’ motivation, comprehension, and participation.
