Acne is a common skin problem among teenagers and young adults, often causing discomfort and lowering confidence. Chemical-based products are available in the market, but they are not suitable for all skin types and causes side effects. To provide a safer alternative, we developed a natural anti-acne spot gel using aloe vera, turmeric, and honey. These ingredients were chosen for their antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and soothing properties. The gel is prepared by extracting aloe vera, mixing it with turmeric and honey, and storing it in glass containers. This gel is packaged in reusable glass containers to support eco-friendly and sustainable packaging practices. Glass is a non-reactive, recyclable, and helps maintain the stability and purity of natural ingredients, making it suitable for storing plant-based skincare products. Our innovation shows how natural resources can be used to create our effective and practical skincare solution. This project aims to explore the use of natural ingredients as an alternative to synthetic skincare products. Besides, to formulate a natural topical gel using fresh aloe vera, turmeric powder, and honey. We’re doing this project to study the antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects of the natural ingredients in reducing acne and dark spots towards the skin. Our acne spot gel uses all natural ingredients which have many health benefits. The cooling effect of aloe vera helps relieve itching, burning, or irritation caused by acne. The addition of honey acts as a natural humectant and antimicrobial agent, helping to heal the skin and prevent further infection. Turmeric powder provides powerful anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties to calm active breakouts. This product is evaluated through several observation factors including texture, absorption, pH test and shelf life.The main expected results are smooth texture, pH level from 5-6 which is close to the natural pH of human skin. Besides, this gel gets absorbed into skin after 30 to 45 seconds of application. Besides, our product can be stored for approximately 5 to 7 days at room temperature and up to 1 to 2 weeks when stored in a sealed glass container under refrigeration. Refrigeration helps slow microbial growth and maintain the quality of natural ingredients. Positive effects on skin are this gel reduces acne and pimples on the skin. The natural ingredients help fight acne-causing bacteria and reduce the appearance of acne over time. Moreover, this product is gentle for sensitive skin. Because it is organic and free from harsh chemicals. This project demonstrates that natural ingredients such as aloe vera, turmeric, and honey have the potential to be formulated into an effective and eco-friendly anti-acne treatment. The innovation highlights how simple, sustainable materials can be used to develop safer skincare alternatives with future potential for wider application and commercialization.
