Used cooking oil is considered as one of the hazardous wastes because improper disposal of used cooking oil can cause significant environmental problems, particularly water and soil contamination. Pouring used cooking oil down to the drain can clog pipes and harm the environment while throwing it into the trash contributes to excess landfill waste. Therefore, repurposing used cooking oil into writing ink is not only eco-friendly and cost-efficient approach, but also is a small yet significant step in reducing waste on the the planet.
