The development of an aquaponic system using solar to control the water pump and automatic fish feeder. Aquaponics is a platform for farmers to grow fish and plants in the same unit simultaneously. This system is considered sustainable and green technology. Solar power can ideally be used and also have a positive Impact on the environment as renewable energy. Given that Malaysia is positioned at the equator and receives an average of 9 hours of sunlight per day throughout the year , the solar intensity is high. Solar power is the cleanest way to produce electricity . This project requires a substitution of power with green energy from solar. The automatic fish feedervis a device that automatically feeds the fish at a predetermined time . A timer is used to control the number of feedings at an interval of time . In a way , it is to control the fish feeding activity by using a fish feeder . This device will feed the fish by dropping the feed from the storage through the hole.
