Early childhood is an essential stage for cognitive, emotional and social development.
Game-based learning has been recognized widely as an approach to increase those aspects
among kids of 4 to 6 years old. However, a few challenges lead to the lack of optimal learning
experience such as limited access to interactive learning material, multilingual educational
material, the absence of a centralized learning platform and the cost barrier to getting a high
quality preschool. In response to the identified this challenge, the development of Tiny Scholar
introduced. It is a web-based educational platform specifically designed to provide centralized
access to interesting and engaging learning materials for preschoolers in Malaysia. The platform
aims to seamlessly integrate educational content with elements of entertainment, thereby
fostering a stimulating and enjoyable learning experience. Furthermore, Tiny Scholar is designed
to support both parents and educators in creating enriched learning environments through
interactive tools such as quizzes, educational videos, and downloadable PDF resources.
Furthermore, user-friendly functionalities such as progress tracking and multilingual support are
incorporated to enhance accessibility, promote cultural and linguistic diversity, and foster greater
collaboration within the early childhood education ecosystem. In summary, Tiny Scholar fosters a
collaborative and efficient ecosystem for early childhood education with a comprehensive digital
solution that serves the needs of three key stakeholders: parents, teachers, and administrators.
Ultimately, Tiny Scholar aspires to bridge educational disparities by offering an engaging,
inclusive, and cost-effective learning that are particularly benefiting under-resourced communities
across Malaysia.
