In this era of globalization, where technology has become an essential part of life, information and communication technology has transformed how we interact with others. This is due to the emergence of a generation skilled in using information technology (IT) to manage aspects of their lives. To meet the increasing demands for fast and efficient services, an online system called RESMART (Resident Smart Merit System) has been introduced. RESMART facilitates the management of student accommodation (KAMSIS) by enabling administrators to handle student data and record merits and demerits based on their behaviour or achievements. This system aims to monitor student discipline effectively by awarding merits for positive behaviours such as attending mandatory programs or maintaining cleanliness and assigning demerits for offenses like returning late or violating dormitory rules. In the past, dormitory management relied on paper and books to manage student data and record disciplinary infractions. However, to meet the needs of the digital era, the RESMART web platform was developed. This platform serves as a tool for managing student information, registering students, recording merits and demerits, and providing comprehensive reports to administrators. The purpose of developing RESMART is to ensure that student data and records of merits and demerits are securely stored, especially in the event of natural disasters or the loss of physical documents. All information will be stored in a designated database. With this system, dormitory management can save time and energy by managing students in a more systematic and professional manner. By leveraging the growing power of information technology, RESMART can transform the way student data and behaviour are managed to be more efficient. Agile methodology was used throughout the development of this system to ensure its effectiveness and flexibility. RESMART, has user-friendly application and interface feature that will assist dormitory management in managing students more easily and effectively. This system is also expected to be an important innovation in improving discipline and student management within the dormitory.
