Eco-Cool Desk Mats: Natural Evaporative Cooling to Protect Children’s Health in Hot Classrooms addresses the issue of heat stress, dehydration, fatigue, and poor concentration among students in warm learning environments. High temperatures can make classrooms uncomfortable and affect students’ ability to focus. This project proposes an eco-friendly desk mat placed on students’ desks, using the principle of evaporative cooling. Water slowly evaporates from the mat’s natural materials, absorbing heat and creating a cooling effect. This simple and sustainable solution improves comfort, supports student well-being, and enhances learning conditions while promoting awareness of environmentally friendly cooling methods.
