Gamified learning is gaining traction as a solution to improve student engagement, especially in subjects like mathematics where traditional methods may fall short. This study examines the effectiveness of Circle PVP, a Roblox-based educational game, in enhancing students’ understanding of angles in a circle. The game transforms math problems into a competitive first-person shooter experience, encouraging active participation through 1v1 challenges. Moreover, we made an efficient method for students to remember formulas by using common objects in our daily life. Eight secondary school students participated in a classroom-based trial where their knowledge was assessed using pre and post-tests. The results showed a significant improvement in performance, with an average increase of 89.55%, and individual gains reaching up to 100%. Public feedback gathered during playtesting sessions and a STEM carnival indicated strong enthusiasm and positive reception from both students and educators, including representatives from the Gombak District Education Office. These findings suggest that gamified tools like Circle PVP can effectively boost learning outcomes and engagement. Future development should expand the game’s content to include more math topics and introduce teacher dashboards to monitor progress and assign tasks. Enhancements to graphics, sound, and customization options are also recommended to further appeal to students and support its integration into formal education environments.
