This innovation study was conducted to produce a skin treatment gel formulation based on natural ingredients, namely Plectranthus amboinicus leaf extract and Aloe vera gel. The main problem to be solved is the dependence on antiseptic products based on synthetic chemicals which sometimes cause side effects on sensitive skin. Plectranthus amboinicus was chosen because of its high content of phenolic compounds carvacrol and thymol as antibacterial agents, while Aloe vera acts as a moisturizing agent and accelerates skin cell regeneration. Virgin coconut oil as a natural preservative and carrier agent. The preparation method involves cold extraction to preserve the nutrients of the ingredients. Initial test results show that Plectro Aloe Coco has a non-sticky texture, provides an immediate cooling effect, and accelerates the process of shrinking small wounds within 48 hours. This innovation has the potential to be a safe, inexpensive, and environmentally friendly home emergency care product.
