Virtual Booth

Our project is called “Smart Sensor by Using Micro:bit for Rider”, designed to improve road safety for cyclists and motorcyclists. It has two main functions: obstacle detection using an ultrasonic sensor with LED color alerts, and a motion sensor light that automatically turns on in the dark to make riders more visible. The system is low-cost, lightweight, and easy to use, built with Micro:bit, extension boards, sensors, and LED strips.

The project helps riders detect danger early, avoid accidents, and stay safe at night. Through this, we learned about coding, hardware integration, and road safety. Despite challenges in programming and mechanism setup, teamwork and guidance helped us succeed. In the future, we plan to add speed tracking and GPS features for better safety. Our Smart Sensor is not only practical and affordable but also promotes awareness about safe riding.
