Students have the perception that Science is a difficult subject to master because it contains abstract concepts (Siti Rohani Jasni, Suhaila Zailani, & Hakim Zainal, 2019; Dziob, 2018). Therefore, in order to change the students' perception of Science subjects, the GBL method in the PdP process is seen as one of the alternatives that can be applied by teachers to attract interest and help students increase their level of mastery in the topics studied (Meekaew & Yasri, 2020). Based on the needs analysis conducted among teachers, it was found that 90% of teachers suggested the GBL method be applied in the topic of Nutrition. The research methodology used is through pre-tests and post-tests that are conducted on Form 2 Science students to see the level of understanding and mastery of the students in the topics studied. Moreover, the originality of this board game is it is a strategy game that challenge to test the level of mastery and speed level. Hence, weak players also have a chance to become winners. Plus, Among The Scientist is the first board game that applied game techniques using Wooden Block Puzzle. In addition, questionnaires were also distributed to students and teachers to assess the level of students' and teachers' evaluation of the Among the Scientist game. The results of the Post Test show an increase in the students' level of understanding and mastery of this topic. While in terms of student and teacher evaluation of the game Among the Scientist, it was found that students gave very positive feedback. In conclusion, Among the Scientist is very suitable to be used as an ABM to attract interest and help students to finish the topic of Nutrition.
