ST1138: DYNAGUARD BARRIER SYSTEM

Road accidents frequently occur at sharp curves due to poor visibility, insufficient road lighting, and the absence of an early warning system. To address this issue, this project presents the development of the Dynaguard Barrier System, which integrates automatic road lighting, impact detection, and IoT technology to improve road safety. The system uses motion and impact sensors to detect vehicle movement and collision events at road barriers. The lighting system automatically activates when a vehicle approaches the sharp curve area, improving visibility while reducing energy consumption during inactive conditions. In addition, the impact sensor detects collisions and sends a real-time alert notification to the user’s smartphone through the Telegram application.
