The rapid emergence of sophisticated AI tools, such as ChatGPT and Gemini, is fundamentally altering societal expectations and transforming various aspects of human life. This technological revolution necessitates a corresponding evolution in educational practices. In the realm of chemistry education, AI is increasingly integrated into diverse applications, including wastewater treatment analysis, chemical reaction prediction, and thermochemistry. The application of AI in chemistry education also presents a critical need for ongoing professional development opportunities for chemistry educators to effectively utilize these cutting-edge technologies. This study aims to comprehensively overview existing literature that explores the successful integration of AI tools by educators and teachers to enhance the learning experience and outcomes in chemistry education.
