Consumer Mathematics Module was developed to address concerns over student achievement in Mathematics for the Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM). Despite an increase in overall pass rates since the syllabus update in 2021, the high number of students scoring D, E, and failing remains a pressing issue. This highlights the need for targeted intervention by the Ministry of Education. Hence the Consumer Mathematics Module: The Teachers’ and Instructors’ Manual serves as a structured guide to strengthen fundamental concepts, enhancing students’ understanding of consumer mathematics and improving their overall competency in the subject.
