ST1785: SMART HATCHVISION

KAVINES A/L KATHIRAVAN KOLEJ VOKASIONAL (PERTANIAN) TELUK INTAN

This project focuses on the development of a smart incubator based on Internet of Things (IoT) technology, It is designed to improve the efficiency of the egg incubation process through remote monitoring and control. The Smart HacthVision integrates key components such as temperature and humidity sensors, a heating element, an air circulation fan, closed circuit camera and a microcontroller connected to a mobile application. Through this system, users are able to monitor incubation conditions in real time in a more systematic and convenient way.The main objective of this development is to overcome the limitations of conventional incubators which often require manual inspection and frequently experience unstable temperature and humidity levels. These issues can negatively affect hatchability and reduce the overall effectiveness of the incubation process. By implementing IoT integration, the smart incubator is capable of performing automatic control, providing early warnings when incubation parameters fall outside the desired range, thereby improving the accuracy and stability of the incubation environment. This study involves the design process, prototype development, component testing and performance evaluation to ensure that the developed smart incubator meets the requirements of stability, reliability and user-friendliness. The findings of this project are expected to contribute to advancement in modern poultry farming and to serve as a reference for future development of IoT-based automation systems.
