NatFume is an innovative eco-friendly air freshener designed to provide a safer, natural, and low-cost alternative to conventional aerosol-based products. This project addresses growing concerns regarding indoor air pollution, environmental waste, and health risks associated with synthetic fragrances and pressurised chemical propellants commonly used in commercial air fresheners. Such products may negatively affect individuals with asthma, young children, and people in sensitive indoor environments.
The innovation introduces a plant-based diffusion system developed using biodegradable materials and natural botanical extracts. NatFume functions by releasing pleasant natural aromas without relying on harmful chemicals or aerosol mechanisms, making it safer for households and environmentally sustainable. In addition, the product is designed to be affordable and easy to produce using accessible natural resources, supporting sustainable living practices and green innovation.
This project promotes environmental awareness, health-conscious lifestyles, and the use of renewable materials while offering an effective solution for improving indoor air quality.
