Type Your Abstract Here! This project, entitled Air Quality Sensor, focuses on monitoring air cleanliness by detecting harmful gases present in the environment. The issue addressed in this project is the increasing level of air pollution caused by human activities such as vehicle emissions, industrial operations, and open burning, which contribute to respiratory diseases and environmental damage. The main objective is to develop a simple, affordable, and efficient air quality monitoring device that can detect carbon monoxide (CO) and alert users when the air becomes unsafe. Carbon monoxide is a colorless and odorless gas that can be dangerous when inhaled in high concentrations, making early detection essential for safety. The target users of this system include individuals, schools, and workplaces that require continuous air monitoring to ensure a healthy environment. The system integrates an MQ-7 carbon monoxide sensor, an LM393 infrared obstacle sensor, a passive buzzer, and a 16x2 LCD display controlled by an Arduino board. When CO levels exceed a predetermined safety threshold, the buzzer is activated to provide an immediate warning, while the LCD displays the gas level readings. This project highlights the importance of environmental awareness and demonstrates how technology can be applied to promote a safer and healthier living space.
